Join BearCruise as we sail September 28th to October 5th for seven nights, with six ports full of Bear fun and awesome BearCruise shore excursions!
September 28 – (Day One) – We sail at 5:30 pm from New York City past Lady Liberty and under the Verrazano Narrows Bridge from Midtown Manhattan to the most beautiful places in New England and Canada on the Norwegian Getaway. Get ready to experience the natural beauty of this region as Mother Nature goes all out with her most spectacular fall color drag!
September 29 (Day Two, 7 am – 3:30 pm) – Visit the gorgeous mansions of The Gilded Age in fabulous Newport, Rhode Island. Note that Newport is a tender port.
September 30 (Day Three, 11:30 am – 7 pm) ) – Explore the historic lighthouses, museums, mansions, and Main Narrow Gauge Railroad in Portland, Maine.
October 1 (Day Four, 7 am – 4 pm) – In Bar Harbor, enjoy delicious Maine Lobster (LOBSTAH!), New England Clam Chowder (CHOWDAH!), visit Acadia National Park and see the natural scenic wonder called Thunder Hole (No, that is not the name of one of our BearCruisers). Note that Bar Harbor is a tender port.
October 2, (Day Five, 9:15 am – 6 pm) – In Halifax, Nova Scotia, enjoy strolling along the shops, restaurants, and museums of the harbor. For history buffs, visit the graves of Titanic victims at Fairview Lawn Cemetery or the Museum of the Atlantic.
October 3, (Day Six, 11:10 am – 8 pm) – At St. John on the Bay of Fundy, have a “fun day” visiting Reversing Fall Rapids where the tide makes the river flow “backwards”, and explore this beautiful coastal village. Tonight is the night to party, because tomorrow is a sea day!
October 4, (Day Seven) – Enjoy a full day at sea!!! Sleep in, party, and enjoy on-board Bear meet-ups and fun.
October 5, (Day Eight, 7 am) – Disembarkation from the ship begins at 7 am.
PRICING:
There are two pricing options with NCL. The first includes cruise fare plus taxes and port fees. The second also includes NCL’s “Free at Sea” promotion, which includes NCL’s drink package, 2 specialty dining nights, $50 shore excursion credit, and 150 minutes of internet per person. (Interior cabins can get two of the four amenities.)
We are past final payment date for this cruise, so all new bookings must make full payment at time of booking.
